June Orme 1920 — 2022 Salt Lake City, UT—In her own words, June Orme entered this world with nothing, then, 101 years later, left "with everything" after pursuing all the wonder, adventure, knowledge, and great books that can fit into a lifetime. She was born Dec. 27, 1920, in Green River, Utah,...

Not sure what to say?

To the Orme Family, I was fortunate enough to be the nurse who took care of Jim Orme years ago, and to learn from June. She was so kind to me as a new nurse, and helped me be a better person and nurse while I cared for her husband. We lost touch over the years until I was asked to be a Home Care nurse for June. I couldn't imagine it would be the same June Orme, but it was. I I was delighted to reconnect with her, and learn that at 100 years old she was just as spicy and bright as she...

It sometimes seems to me that, having June as my Cub Scout den mother and Stan as a life-long dear friend, I very possibly spent more of my formative years in the Orme home than under my own roof. I hope you all know how much I loved and respected Aunt June. I have really missed going to lunch with her the past three years. I am thinking about you. Please let me know if there is a memorial service to celebrate her life. Love to you all, Margaret

I loved and so admired you driven, smart, spicy mom. I was a docent with her at the UMFA, and I had the pleasure of seeing and talking to her one last time, at our recognition night last month. What an amazing person, who I am so glad that I was fortunate enough to know!

The world has lost a great woman - a seeker of wisdom, a committed advocate to human causes and her twinkling eyes that always smiled. I'm so glad that I was able to visit with June while she was at Highland Cove with my father. Her memories were filled with stories and love for her family. I hope that you will find peace in her gracious love.

Stan and Eric, My condolences on the passing of your mother. May God´s blessings of peace and comfort be with you and your families. Kim/ East High `67

What a wonderful tribute to a great humanitarian. It was an honor to know her.

Oh how we love June and will miss her intelligence and humor. We were so lucky to know her!
