To June's Family: I met June at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware in 1956. She had invited me as her date to the Sadie Hawkins Dance where the girls invite their date. I don't recall meeting her before that date, but it was a memorable occasion. I was picked up in a taxi, blindfolded, and taken to a place outside Delaware. That was a touching tribute to June who always seemed younger than her years. She was a dear friend who I have missed and still miss regularly. I'm so glad the nieces were able to help her when Alzheimer's overtook her memories. Will miss her friendship, her sense of adventure, and her sense of humor.
