Dear Rasmussen Family,
It is so difficult to fathom the loss you have been experiencing the past few months. Your parents were married for such a long time, and it is very difficult to imagine June without Art and Art without June, but now they are together forever in Heaven and that must bring you solace and peace. Their faith was evident in the way they raised you all. They extended their beliefs to all who were fortunate to know them. I feel extremely blessed to have known them...

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO THE RASMUSSEN FAMILY. I KNEW HER FATHER DAN DOWNEN WHEN HE OWNED A GROCERY STORE IN STEELEVILLE, ILLINOIS. WE SHOPPED AT HIS MARKET WHEN WE LIVED IN THAT AREA. I AM SORRY FOR YOU LOSS.

Such a shock to see this in the paper. My son and I met June 5 years ago while he was doing volunteer work in preparation for his confirmation. She always enjoyed seeing him at church, and now he is an usher. June was such a lovely person and I know I will miss her. I loved spending a little time talking after mass with her. Our deepest sympathies to you all. Sincerely, Paula and Bryson Humber

To The Rasmussen Family,
I have nothing, but fond memories of your mother. She was always so friendly, sweet and quick with a smile and a giggle. I don't believe she ever said an unkind word about anybody. She was an excellent role model and cared deeply for all who had the honor of knowing her.
She will be missed, but her legacy will live on for eternity. May God bless you all!

I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I had just recently run into her and she was her usual "perky" self. She was a friend to so many people and will be missed.
