Dear Alane, Richard and Rob, I was so sorry to hear about your mom´s passing. Even at 95, losing a parent leaves a space nothing else quite fills. I´ve been thinking a lot about the three of you and all the years our families spent woven into each other´s lives. June Silver personified the title "Friend" for the thirty years I knew her through her efforts at the South Windsor Library. Her always-cheerful acceptance of every challenge presented by our programs and activities kept our focus on welcoming everyone, and her voice still echoes when new projects are launched. I offer condolences to June's family for their loss; she will always be remembered with love.
