Not sure what to say?

"My Aunt June was so special in so many ways. My father, Ridgeway W. Stevens, was her brother. She celebrated everyday, was smart, enjoyed traveling and lived a good and full life. As a youngster, I delighted in listening to her wonderful stories, and I thought she looked so grand in her military uniform. But, best of all, she loved the Lord and I knew she loved me, and my husband too. I am so happy she was in my life." PTL Donna & Bruce Strachan

Miss Stevens was an excellent teacher. I, and countless others students, benefitted greatly from her. I imagine right now, she is chatting with Mr. Shakespeare.

Miss Stevens was an outstanding teacher and excellent role model. I had the privilege of being one of her students at G.A.R. Memorial High School, and she is one of my teachers I remember with fondness and gratitude. Thank you, Miss Stevens.

Miss Stevens was a fine English teacher. How lucky we were to benefit from her knowledge. She will be in my prayers.

Miss Stevens in the classroom, GAR

My former English teacher passed away. We had some great teachers at GAR. Reading the obituary I just found out that MS Stevens was a U.S. Army (COL) veteran who served during World War II with the famed Eastern Flying Training Command. I never knew of her military background, but I was truly impressed with her dedication and discipline. My children:Dale Jr., Lauren, and Reis will attest as to how she influenced my emphasis upon good grammar.
Dale Hill, Command Sergeant Major (Ret.)

I had the privilege of having Miss Stevens for all four of my high school years; thank you Miss Stevens, you will not be forgotten.

June Stevens had a great and continuing influence on my life. She was my English teacher more than 40 years ago, and I still recall some of those classes.
