Dear Family,

June volunteered for me at the Milwaukie Center delivering Meals on Wheels. I was unaware of her passing and am so sad to learn the news when I just opened a card with a check from someone she used to swim with. She was such a wonderful person and I can tell you loved her dearly. I'm sorry for your loss.

I have one of June's beautiful creations hanging in my two year old daughter's room. It's a lovely bird and my daughter points at it every night before bed. I am sorry for your loss.

June, I am sorry I only got to know you for a few months. Your endless energy fascinated me even though you were in your 80 you acted like somebody in your 50's you're always there to help. You were a fantastic baker, cupcakes and muffins fun for all. The people who you baked for loved your work. Thanks for sharing your heart and compassion.
