I will always have the wonderful memories of the times that we shared together--our special trip to London, many times in jerusalem, traveling to and from Tel yehudah and Sprout lake. We shared joys and sorrows, frustrations, and great excitment. I look at the pictures from the dedication mission of the Judaean Youth Hostel and will remember June with a smile.

You were always my "queen." You were an inspiration to all who knew and loved you and you touched us in a way that no one else could have. It is painful for me to look in your office, knowing I will never see you again. You will always remain in my heart.
With deep sorrow and much love, Diane

June made an impact on the many people with which she came into contact. She is a beloved past president not just of National Hadassah -- but of the Northern NJ Region of Hadassah. As the current president of that region, I can say that so many of our members were touched by June in one way or another. And all those who knew her were saddened to hear of her untimely death. May the memories we all share of June serve as a wonderful reminder of the vibrant, bright and articulate leader...

We were roommates for a time at The Buckingham on 57th & 6th - she came to my Broadway shows, and I went to hers when Stacy was performing - she was my national president and I was her treasurer. We were both vertically challenged, and we both adopted Fitore from Kosovo. She was perhaps the only great leader I know without a whole lot of pretension and self importance. I miss her a lot.

My dear friend for over 30 years. I learned what a Zionist was from you. You told me that if I gave my heart, my head and my hands there would always be a place in the Hadassah world for me. We shared so much together. Vacations when Bernie was alive, simchas and sadness. My family will always remember that you were with us the day Bernie died. I am so grateful we had this last week at convention and that I was able to be there for you. The first few years that you were National President...

I look at the Israeli artist Jossi Stern's poster that June gave to me -- perhaps because he and I waltzed at a Region function? -- and I am flooded with memories and thoughts. We were Hadassah colleagues who became friends, and we maintained that relationship over the past thirty years. We did not see each other as often as we would have liked when June became an influential member of the Jewish world, but I appreciated the fact that she continued to be the same down-to-earth, unpretentious,...

You were an angel sent from heaven. You will be missed, but your mitzvot will be remembered for generations.

June Walker was woman of strength, dignity and modesty. She had a real sense of humor and a love for family and friends. She had a passion for Israel and Judaism and a zest for life.
June was an extraordinary bright leader who took the time to listen as well as advise. She was creative as well as a visionary.
Personally I remember when June asked me to meet with her privately and shared with me how it is important to take risks. It was important for June to take the time to develop as...
