First and foremost I want to express my deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Junetta. She was a pillar of the community and a second mother to most of us that grew up on Oakland Terrace and Kerrigan Boulevard. She kept us in church and singing in the choir. She was very strict and took no mess. I am truly grateful to have had her in my life especially in my teenage years and for being there to help with my mom (Gwendolyn Boyd) final arrangements when she went on to glory on September 18,...
