Not sure what to say?

Although I never met Judge Crooks, I read about his many high-profile decisions over the years and admired his wisdom, fairness and integrity. Even though his death was unexpected, those who knew him can undoubtedly rest with peace of mind that he lived a full and satisfying life.
I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in family and friends at this time. Peace, love and light.

Kris and Family:

Our deepest sympathy.
We so appreciate the job Pat did on the court in his impartial manner.

In sympathy and friendship,
Dick and Peg Jansen

I was so very sorry to learn of Pat's passing. As you know, we worked together at the law firm in Green Bay and I have many memories about those times. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time.

Many years ago I had the opportunity to introduce my elderly mother to Justice Crooks. He and his wife were entering a local restaurant as we were leaving. My mother had never met a Judge, much less a Justice of the Supreme Court. She was very honored to shake his hand.

He was such a great man. He told her how honored he was to meet the woman who raised such a nice young lady. He was royalty, yet he turned it around and made her feel like royalty. I think of him often in my prayers,...

Kris,
I am so sorry for your loss. Pat changed our world in so many ways and there is no greater accomplishment than that. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

In 1997, when I could not make the Wisconsin Bar swearing in ceremony because I was leaving for the Army JAG Corps, Justice Crooks swore me in in a private ceremony. Almost 17 years later, to the day, I needed a Justice to swear me in for the TN Bar and Justice Crooks graciously did so again. I am honored and privileged to have known him and his wonderful family.

My deepest sympathies.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Justice N. Patrick Crooks. With thoughts & prayers at this time of your loss. Blessings, Joan DeBauche Rothe

WE WERE TAKING A FUTURE CAREER TEST IN 9TH GRADE. I TURNED TO PATRICK AND ASKED WHAT HE WAS GOING TO BE. WITHOUT HESITATION AND FIRMLY HE SAID 'A LAWYER'.

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY

My husband and I were honored to have Judge Crooks officiate at our wedding.
