Baier Family Funeral Services - Paxton Obituary

Justin Paul Brewer, 36, of Paxton died at 2:37 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Paxton Church of Christ, 400 W. Ottawa with Rev. Tom Anders officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling the arrangements.

Justin was born March 4, 1979 in Gibson City a son of Max E. Brewer Jr. and Linda Wright Brewer.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Brewer of Paxton; father, Max (Judy) Brewer Jr. of Rantoul; sister, Christina Brewer of Rantoul; nephew, Damien; two step brothers, Stephen (Carol) Highsmith of Brownburg, Indiana and Scott Johansen of Paris, Illinois; four step nieces and one step nephew, as well as many numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two uncles.

Justin graduated from Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School in 1997 and attended Eureka College, Parkland College and the U of I, Springfield. He was very involved in PBL sports, participating on the football, basketball, baseball and cross country teams. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, and the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Justin was a member of the Paxton Church of Christ. He adored his nephew, Damien, "the light of his life".
