Justin Ray Butcher, 33, of Taylor, Arkansas, gained his angel wings on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Justin was born to James Butcher and Melinda Moffett Morehead on November 21, 1990, in Magnolia, Arkansas. He enjoyed swimming, guitars, anime, and guns. He loved to help people. Justin had such a love for cars and enjoyed working on them so much, that at the age of 4 his parents had to get him his own creeper so that he could roll up under them himself. 


Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Ray and Bobbie Jean Moffett; and uncle, Tommy Ray Moffett.


Left to cherish the memories of Justin is his mother, Melinda Kay Moffett Morehead of Taylor, Arkansas; father, James “Ronnie” Butcher (Jennifer) of Texarkana, Arkansas; stepfather, Kevin Ray Morehead of Bodcaw, Arkansas; grandparents, Sandra Faye Marlar (James) of Waldo, Arkansas, and Daniel Ray Butcher (Denise) of Bellevue, Florida; step grandparents, Charles Ray Morehead (Reba) of Bodcaw, Arkansas; daughter, Kaylynn Faith Butcher of Taylor, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Rayney Duran of Stamps, Arkansas; sons, Dakota Ray Butcher of Taylor, Arkansas and Miller Ray Watkins of Dewitt, Arkansas; sisters, Kaylee Rae Morehead, of Taylor, Arkansas and Hadley Ann Butcher, of Texarkana, Arkansas; stepsisters, Jordan Morehead and Chelsea Morehead, both of Longview, Texas; aunts and uncles, John “Randy” Butcher of Waldo, Arkansas, Jay Marlar (Molly) of Magnolia, Arkansas, Corey Marlar (Lynley) of LaPorte, Texas and Scott Butcher (Jennifer) of Austin, Texas; and numerous family and friends.


Pallbearers for Justin will be Brock Davis, Jake Hicks, Jake Nix, Jonathan Butcher, Adam Schrupp and Tyler Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Barnett, Matt Foster and Gage Sanders.


A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at A O Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas.


Funeral Services will be held at A O Smith Funeral Chapel, Stamps, Arkansas, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Marlar officiating, with interment to follow at Bethany Cemetery, Springhill, Arkansas. Services under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
