Not sure what to say?

To the family of Justin and his fiancé. I am an attorney in Topeka Kansas. My family and I were at the lake on July 4 parked yards away from Justins boat. Our hearts sank as we later that evening learned of the magnitude of the accident and as I learned more about Justin from his Facebook page. . You have our deepest deepest sympathy. The SIUE Department of Political Science is saddened to learn of the passing of one of our former majors, Justin Byrd. We remember his time with us as a student fondly. We recall his engagement with knowledge, learning, and ideas, as well as his passion for the great outdoors. He made us proud. Justin will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his fiancee, family members, and friends during this difficult time.

I am truly sorry to hear of Justin's passing. He always had a smile on his face at Unity High School. Thinking of you in this very difficult time.

Justin was my tax attorney. He was patient, kind and did really good work for me. Breaks my heart for his family; I have a son in his BNI leads group.

Thinking of all of you in this time of grief.
