Justin Alexander Creech, 15, of Richmond, died Monday, January 5, 2004. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Karen Creech; his sister, Kelsey; his brother, Connor; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Lavonda Creech; his best friend of 12 years, Joey Norris; and his girlfriend, Gigi DeGraff. Justin was a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School, where he excelled in soccer and enjoyed other sports. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was active in the Youth Group. The family will receive friends at Westminster Presbyterian Church from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 9 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of Virginia, Inc., P.O. Box 25418, Richmond, Va. 23260 or the Westminster Presbyterian Church Playground Fund, 4103 Monument Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230.

To the family of Justin Creech. We hold special wonderful memories of Justin as he was special friend and classmate to our children at Mary Munford elementary school. Justin loved playing and coaching soccer with the students at Mary Munford elementary school. We also have special memories of the Creech family. My son Anthony* and Conner were classmates and great friends. Keeping your family in our prayers always.

Justin I think of you often - in the fall especially when i see a group of kids playing soccer. I fondly remember the days at St. Joseph's Villa and you, Michael, Ethan - all the blond headed kids I could not tell apart if you got too far away! Those were wonderful afternoons. I seen your name in my email account and tears came to my eyes.I still reremember the phone call we recieved amd thought it was all a bad dream. We didn't really talk to much in school and when we did you always had a big smile on your face and was always so happy. God bless your family. And may god continue to see them through this.
