Justin Paul Darling, 28, of Alleman passed away on September 14, 2016. Justin enjoyed riding dirt bikes, jeeping, racing, MMA fighting and fishing. He was a very proud business owner who took pride in a hard day's work and taking care of his family. Justin's greatest pride came from being a great dad. Justin was a man of his word, who enjoyed good political banter. Justin is survived by his children Hunter and Briar, his significant other Lauren Staab; his parents Amy and Paul Harding, Scott Snyder (Karen), Brian and Susie Schwitters; sisters Breana Schwitters, Kourtney Harding and his brother Kyle Harding; his grandparents Paul and Sandra Darling, and multiple friends and family members. Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents Suzan Johns, Dewey Carr, Michel Foshe and Barbara Snyder.
Visitation will be held, Monday September 19th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Grimes Presbyterian Church 410 SE 3rd Street Grimes, Iowa 50311. A funeral service will be held at Tuesday September 20, 2016 11:00 a.m. also, at Grimes Presbyterian. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens 4400 Merle Hay Road Des Moines, Iowa 50310
I Never knew you but i now know your son Hunter he talks about you alot.We both have lost are Fathers and we both talk to each other hunter is a cool person Rest in Peace

I didn't know Justin but I am guessing it was his funeral procession I came up on at 128th and Douglas today. I stopped and put my flashers on, paying respect to a perfect stranger. From the time I was stopped, it was very clear that whoever gained their wings was very loved. I was touched by the line of motorcycles that paid respect, especially the three men that made sure the intersection stayed clear for their loved one. RIP Justin.. And many thoughts and prayers with those pouring out...

You and Hunter were part of our family for a season. I'm profoundly sad that you are gone. You were an amazing father and I will pray for Hunter and Briar. I will pray for Lauren also as I am sure her heart is broken. You made a special mark on my heart.
