Not sure what to say?

Dr Fuller was one my favorite professors at UM. He pushed his students to test limits, and was very accessible when advising students - always felt he really enjoyed meeting with his students! He was one of the most thoroughly resourceful professors in his ability to cross-reference virtually any research paper topic; Dr Fuller taught with “Joy” in his heart! He will be missed by many! Let us pray that the peace of Philippians will help his family through the coming days!

I knew Justin from a foyer group/
Supper club at St Mary’s. He was delightful company. When we met once at his house in Montevallo, we were all charmed by the yellow rubber duckie and bathtub toys he had for his grandchildren’s visits. I also ran into him in later years at Brookdale and St Martin’s. He was a lovely gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolences to the family. Both he and his wife were genuinely kind and generous people. I now have a PhD and they remain as two of the best professors I ever had.

Dr. Fuller was such a kind man. I worked in the Social Sciences department with him, Dr. Morgan, Carley Best, and many others. Dr. Fuller and Carley were two people that worked hard to allow me to go to Washington DC to intern for Jeremiah Denton. He was one of my favorites in the department and his faith was the true light of his world, his North Star. Peace to your family.

Elizabeth you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I learned a lot from Justin - he was a remarkable man and we always enjoyed his visits. Sending love, dear cousin.

As one of his students at Montevallo, Dr. Fuller pushed me to excel. He was a gracious caring man and will be missed.

Condolences to family and friends. I value the time spent in Dr. Fuller’s classes while I was a history major at UM (class of ‘92).

I was a History major at Montevallo, 1968-72. Dr. Fuller was one of my favorite professors.
I returned to UM to teach, from the Univ. of Georgia, in 1989. My family moved into a home very close to Dr. Fuller. I was blessed to have known him as a mentor, neighbor, and friend! May he Rest In Peace! Freddie H. Ford, PhD

Buffy your Dad was my professor, honors mentor, my department chair and most of all my friend. Unbeknownst to me he groomed me to take his place as chair when he retired. He was a wonderful teacher and a fine chair. He cared about his faculty and students. As you know he was incredibly smart and a wonderful conversationalist. In addition, he exemplified the best in the phrase southern gentleman. In short I owe much of my success as a teacher and chair to him
