Justin Dwayne Hiracheta, 37, of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Mr. Caleb Sowell officiating.
Justin Hiracheta was born on August 21, 1987, in McKinney, Texas, to Fred and Violet (La Bleau) Hiracheta. From a young age, Justin had a heart for serving others. As a child, he began visiting nursing homes with service animals, bringing joy to the residents.
Justin carried this spirit of service throughout his life. He worked as a security officer for United Regional and WFISD and proudly served in the Texas Air National Guard. After graduating from the Wichita Falls Police Academy, he began his law enforcement career with the Vernon Police Department. He later served with the Electra Police Department, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, and then returned once more to Electra, where he continued protecting and serving his community.
An avid marksman, Justin was a member and competitor with the North Texas Field and Stream. He dedicated his time as a volunteer with Patsy’s House and rode with Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA). His love for music was a constant throughout his life—he enjoyed all genres, played drums in several local bands including Phaded Ink, and even gave free drum lessons to children at the Boys and Girls Club. Justin also loved his dogs and was known to enjoy a good cigar in his downtime.
Justin was deeply committed to his Masonic journey. He was a member of Vernon Masonic Lodge #655, A.F.&A.M., and Faith Masonic Lodge #1158 in Wichita Falls, and had recently joined the York Rite of Masonry. His life reflected the Masonic values of service, leadership, and brotherhood.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Hiracheta, and his beloved dog, Buck.
Justin is survived by his father, Fred Hiracheta; his brother, Brandon Hiracheta, and wife Melissa; along with many dear friends and companions who will carry his memory forward.
Memorial donations in Justin’s honor may be made to Patsy’s House, 1411 10th St., Wichita Falls, Texas 76301.

It was an honor to have met and known you through Faith Masonic Lodge. I know you were a very sincere brother in your Masonic and York Rite memberships. You truly exemplified the virtues of masonry throughout your life from visiting nursing homes early in life thru to your adulthood of serving communities as a security officer, serving in the Texas Air National Guard, serving as a sheriff deputy and as a police officer. May you rest easy in the arms of Jesus knowing that your brothers of the...
