Sorry to hear Mr. McCarthy passed. He was the best guidence councelor during my years at SHS. Your family will continue to be in my prayers.

What a wonderful person and teacher. Justin you had such spirit,
everyone loved to be around you. You will truly be missed and never forgotten.

I had many great talks about sports with Justin! He was a wonderful teacher and guidance counselor. He loved what he was doing and did it with grace and total committment to students in the school system.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. McCarthy was my teacher in Salem Middle School in 8th grade and again in the High School my freshman year. He was always there for us (his students) and I can honestly say I learned more from him than any other teacher I ever had. He told us once in the High School, if you fail to learn it is because I failed to teach you. May God comfort and keep you and may your memories sustain you always.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Mary Ellen ( Doyle)Harvey Henry

Deepest sympathies to the entire McCarthy family on the loss of Justin. It was always easy to go to Salem High School to referee a basketball game, as I did many times, when Justin was the coach there. I started doing his J.V. games when Lou Schantz was still the head coach and then accepted varsity games there when Justin took over. God bless.

To all the McCarthy families -
I remember Justin fondly from the eyes of a little neighborhood girl whose family knew ALL of the McCarthys. Justin was one to be remembered!
Our deepfelt condolences to all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
