" Justin was full of energy, kind, and fun to be around. I enjoyed talking to him about life and GOD. He was a soldier and I am blessed to have spent some time with him before his passing. You will be truly missed.

Justin was a great kid, always willing to offer his opinion and work hard. He came back several times to visit us at Tech after his graduation as well. I'll miss him.

"I was Justin's 5th grade reading teacher. He was a joy to interact with and instruct. He was so hard-working and positive minded. I am floored by his death and still touched by his sweet old soul....Rest in peace Justin. You made me into a better teacher. Thank you" Sonya Wren

I remember having Justin in class and then having him spend lunch in my classroom, sometimes sleeping on the tables until class began because he said he was tired from working after school. He was always kind and thoughtful to me and others in class. I was terribly saddened to read the article in the Journal on Sunday. You brothers have been an example to me of self-sufficiency and family team work to me and many others. That will pull you through this awful tragedy. Love and prayers, Ms....
