Not sure what to say?

I know Jay died 3 years ago, but I just learned of his passing as it was not published in our college magazine. The reason for my comment here is that I was in the same fraternity and Air Force ROTC unit as Jay, so I knew him well in 1954. He selected flight training as an Air Force officer and I ended up in a support squadron in Tokyo. I learned from Art Robbins, that Jay flew transport aircraft when he was on active duty, however when I tried to contact Jay some years back, I was told that...

Dear Sandy and family, It is hard to believe that you are gathering together for the 3rd Yarzheit. Jay was such a vital person with strong convictions who willingly shared them with others, I can still hear his voice in my memory. I wonder how he would view the current global uprisings. May his memory be a blessing to you all. With much love, Sally N. Esakov

Dearest Sandy, Lori, Amy and families. I had no idea that Jay died, and only found this out by chance. Gosh - I have so many memories of our lives together over 60 years. Jay took me on my 1st flight - we left from Hillsgrove [now Green Airport], showed me how to do a pre-flight check, overflew tiny cars and trucks on highways, and flew to Worcester. We had many interesting political discussions, it was a joy to host you in my home. Long life and much love, Sally

Jay was a dear friend and special client representing eagle cornice. Jay substantially contributed to my success as a construction lawyer. Of which I shall always be grateful. And need to say the countless airplane rides with him. May he Rest In Peace. Jerry Visconti

Amy and family, my sincere sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time.
