Dear Danny,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember him so well through all of our years growing up, always laughing with everyone, and always like a bigger brother to your friends.

I know you have so many great memories with him, and you have to know how fortunate you are that he is your dad.

Please give our condolences to Jan and to the rest of your family, as well.

I am so sorry to hear of Justin's passing -- even more sorry since I just recently got to meet him. He struck me then as a man I would really have enjoyed spending time with, and after reading some of the other condolences I now know that this is true.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. As you feel stronger, you should consider coming to visit and spending some time here in the Rockies -- the closest you can come to the stars smiling down on you.

I struggle to find words to express my profound sadness of Justin's passing. We had a special relationship on so many levels. Our many conversations over the 10 years that I knew him bridged the subjects of politics (one of his personal favorites), volcabulary and the correct usage of words, current events, sports of all kinds, but usually the Cubs and so many others that escape me at the moment.

Dear Diane,

Justine and I grew up together when he lived on Pratt Blvd. and I lived on Columbia Ave. across the alley in Rogers Park. We were between the ages of 10 to 15 then.

After so many years, it was great to meet up again with Justin through the Sullivan Alumni Association and it was just like Justin to be loyal to the organization and give so much of his time.
