April 7th, 2003 - February 25th, 2022
Justin Andrew Tognozzi, beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend passed from this life on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the age of 18 from a tragic car accident.
He is survived by his father Eric Tognozzi; mother Amy Tognozzi; brother Bryce Tognozzi; grandparents Jim and Cathy Moffit, Pam Moffit, and Alice Gherardi; aunt Melissa and uncle Ben Harden, their children Jacob, Zachary, and Nathan; aunt Andrea and uncle Dan O’Neill, their children Evan and Aiden; aunt Debbie and uncle Larry Day, their children Jeremy, Christopher, and Sean; uncle Steve and aunt Stephanie Tognozzi, their child Michael; and many other extended family members.
Justin was loved by all who knew him - his wit, charm and smile would light up a room. Justin enjoyed spending time with his friends, had a passion for golf and hockey and was an entrepreneur at heart. He thrived academically, graduating from Marquette High School in conjunction with obtaining an associate degree from St. Louis Community College. He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He will be truly missed and forever remembered.
Services: All are invited to attend Justin’s celebration of life at Forest Hills Country Club, 36 Forest Club Drive, Clarkson Valley, MO 63005 on Sunday, March 6th starting at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Evans Scholars Foundation. I miss you so much Justin, I always loved you like a brother and it’s been truly painful to see you pass away so early and tragically. I will never forget the amazing times we have had together and that will always be apart of who I am.
