To the family of Pfc. Justin M. Whitmire:
Justin gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

Your family is in our prayers. We attended Justin's memorial and didn't even know him. But we have the connection as our son is the same age and serves in the Marines. We have Justin's picture up in our home so we always remember...Blessings...

It's been almost a year since Justin's death, but the loss of him is still so painful! We are so proud of you and your sacrifice for all of us, but we will never stop missing you and loving you! RIP, sweet grandson! Love, Grandmommy and Papa Steve

At my church here in California every year around Memorial Day, our pastor puts out a large basket with the names and pictures of all our fallen soldiers from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and we each are invited to take one and pray for the family left behind.
