Read MoreIt is 2024 and I can still see your smile and joy. Surely was unfair that you never got to be an "old lady". I haven't been back to Mount Desert Island in almost 10 years now. It is much more " touristy" than ever before, so different than when we were kids. Family resting places remain hidden quiet and beautiful however and memories are strong. I see your constant smile in my heart.
