Dr. O performed fusion surgery on me in 2017 when I was 14. He saved my life. I owe everything and more . He dedicated his life to helping others and I will never forget him .

I just found this and my heart is so heavy. I hope this message finds his family. Dr. O was nothing short of amazing and will always be our hero. My daughter had a diagnosis and we were told she would never run, jump, ride a bike, play like a child ever again. After getting our second opinion with Dr. O - we decided to try the surgery. He is the only male specialist my daughter ever felt comfortable with. They laughed and he told of his daughters, he was so proud of them. At her last check...

I'm saddened to hear of Dr. O's passing. I worked with him briefly in 2018 and 2019, and met him at a neurosurgery meeting. He was so kind and cheerful - you could tell he was passionate about what he did and excited to teach and help others. Even though our encounters were brief he left an impression and I am so sorry for your loss.

I just found out about Dr O this morning while I was at the Cleveland Clinic for a brain scan. This man saved my life and I'm forever grateful. My prayers to his family.
