Dr. O performed fusion surgery on me in 2017 when I was 14. He saved my life. I owe everything and more . He dedicated his life to helping others and I will never forget him .

I just found this and my heart is so heavy. I hope this message finds his family. Dr. O was nothing short of amazing and will always be our hero. My daughter had a diagnosis and we were told she would never run, jump, ride a bike, play like a child ever again. After getting our second opinion with Dr. O - we decided to try the surgery. I'm saddened to hear of Dr. O's passing. I worked with him briefly in 2018 and 2019, and met him at a neurosurgery meeting. He was so kind and cheerful - you could tell he was passionate about what he did and excited to teach and help others. Even though our encounters were brief he left an impression and I am so sorry for your loss.

I just found out about Dr O this morning while I was at the Cleveland Clinic for a brain scan. This man saved my life and I'm forever grateful. My prayers to his family.
