I only knew Kaitlyn through my association with Travis Ruhland. She was always a fun and positive person to be around. I know she will be sorely missed by Travis and his family. My condolences and sympathy's are with him, his family and Kaitlyns family.

Althoug I never met Kaitlyn in person, we were phone contacts and fellow Melanoma fighters. We were both also teachers. I want you to know that I admire Kaitlyn's ongoing passion for her students. In her memory and honor I will be sharing both her obituary, as well as Travis' lovely writing with my students. The world should here of such a heroic woman! My thoughts will be forever with her family, sister, and of course Travis. Words cannot describe the constant battle of the Melanoma patient....
