Such a courageous young man, he was so dedicated to surfing and skateboarding despite his challenges. He was talented and determined and it showed in his success in his sports. An inspiration to so many. My heart goes out to the David family, May God be with you as you endure this extremely difficult time of your loss.

So very sad to lose such a talented athlete and an amazing person at such a very young age. Sincerest sympathies to the David family, so very sorry for your loss. May God give you comfort and strength as you this most difficult time of your loss.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I was a fan of Kalani after seeing him in a surf magazine when I was little. I got to meet him when he did the Dew Tour in Ocean City MD. I was a nervous teen girl talking to her celebrity crush. He then signed and gave me the board he used in that competition and took a picture with me. I followed his journey ever since. I will never forget his kindness.
