Send FlowersMontville - Kally J. Wong, 82, of Uncasville, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Canton, China, on June 3, 1935, the daughter of Jing Jee and Yip Poi Young. She was married to John Y. K. Wong, on Oct. 7, 1958, in New London.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her four children, Namie Tedford and her husband, Gary, Nage Wong and his wife, Maura, Hallie Wong and his wife, Donna, and Walter Wong; a surviving sister; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and two more great-grandchildren on the way.
A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London. A visiting hour will be from 11 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New London.
