Thank you to Kamal's family for inviting us to her memorial and allowing us to sit with you during prayers. I was extremely saddened to read that she was no longer with us. I feel diminished by her passing. Her energy is no longer in human form, no longer available to give her one more hug and to let her know how treasured she was to me. Still trying to process that the sweet, loving and caring Kamal is no longer amongst us. I have known here since I was 14 years old and stayed friends through high school, college and years after. Lost touch here and there but managed to keep up through social media, a few get together in Yuba City and random meetings in midtown Sacramento. We always picked up where we left off and I loved that about her. She will truly be missed by everyone. Always rest in peace my beautiful friend.

Kamal was my very good friend. I always remember her laughing and smiling at all times. Always someone who was there for you, someone you could trust and rely on. It is very difficult to imagine we will never be able to spend time and laugh together. I will always remember her and she will live on in all of our memories. I know one day we will meet again my dear friend Kamal. Rest easy my dear, you were a true gem in everyone´s life.
