Kandi passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Kandi was a resident of Iowa at the time of passing. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at West Harrison High School Mondamin, Iowa. Funeral Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 West Harrison High School Mondamin, Iowa.
Just knowing Kandi in the crossfit community the past few years she has always left a smile on my face and a great conversation. We were "grounding" during the Fitness world series" at her son Trevor's competition last summer. She was a joy and I truly will miss her and cherish her family and the CF Elkhorn community!!

Although I was in her sister's , Sheri's, class I remember Kandi as someone who lit up a room even in High school. It is a wonderful tribute to hear all of the memories the community and students have of her. It is wonderful to know that she kept that special gift of touching peoples lives and never changed. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family, school and community.

I only got to know Kandi for the past three years. During that time, I got to see her genuine love and caring of the students that she taught and coached. The impact that she had on our school and communities was so great that there is a hole on our hearts. We are all better for knowing her! Our prayers continue to go out to the Baxter Family and those that she impacted.
