Kapua and Kamaka Sproat invited me into their home and family so I could attend summer school at the Church College of Hawaii (now BYU- Hawaii). Their kids were 12, 9, 6, and 3 and I slept on a cot in a room with Anuenue and Maile. I was an 18 year old committed Catholic from L. A.
