Not sure what to say?

Dear Coker Family,
Kara's smiling face is etched in my memory from childhood. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her untimely passing. I pulled out and dusted off my yearbooks and there she was, beginning with Mrs. Miles' 5th grade class, through our senior year at Southeast High. Same warm smile, same wonderful sense of humor. A real joy to be around. I'm not surprised to read about her accomplishments and all the goodness she shared with others. You should be very proud....

Connie, Charlotte and I are so very sorry to have learned of Kara's passing. Please know that you have a special place in our hearts during this trying time. Take comfort knowing she's in a better place.

The Coker Family, I have been blessed to know and work with Kara at children's hospital in Boston I just read her story,my prayers and thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.

Dear Connie, I have known Kara for such a short time, but she inspired be to be my best. She was a Clinical Nurse Specialist that I really admired. I wish you and your family peace in knowing that Kara was a great person, loved by all and is now with God.

Thirty years ago I hired Kara as a swim instructor. In my 25 yrs of running the swim program, she was one of the best. We became good friends and enjoyed teaching lifeguarding together. We stayed in touch after she moved to MA but eventually lost contact. She was truly a girl, and then woman, to be admired. I am so very sad to hear of her passing. I have several pictures of her and in them she is always smiling. That is how I will remember her.

Dear Connie, Jack and Ethan:
We have been blessed to know and love Kara. I met Kara in 1989 at Boston Children's Hospital when she cared for my son, Anders. She was truly an exceptional woman. Her grace, kindness and exceptional nursing skills were greatly appreciated during that difficult time. When it was clear Anders would not survive, Kara was a strong, nuturing, and supportive woman. We have been friends since 1989. She has been a caring and loving friend to me and my children,...

Connie,
It was an honor to care for Kara, first at Butterworth and then at Trillium Woods. She was an amazing, accomplished person with a great sense of humor. It was also a pleasure getting to know you and her numerous friends. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time.

Hi Mrs, Coker - I've been reeling since I read Kara's life story in the paper. What an inspiration she was to all of us! She was my best friend our senior year of high school. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

My condolences to Kara's family. I knew her grandmother, Naomi, and her dad, Harold as I was from Patterson also.
