I attended Oneida High School and graduated in '90, I remember Kara.
Reading about her journey left me amazed at all she achieved and true insight to the incredible, brave, and driven person she became. It was heartbreaking to hear of her loss to cancer. I wish her family/her daughters sincere blessings.

I went to school with Kara and was a part of her high school graduating class in 1989. I will always remember Kara as a caring, intelligent, and beautiful person. She was always very dedicated to her studies. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kara's family and all those who love her. I will be thinking of you in the days to come. May God bless you and watch over you during this difficult time.

Dear Sweet & Gobron families,

I knew Kara while she was in the Ph.D. Program at Emory. She was a very hard-working student, dedicated to her research project. I am not surprised to hear that Kara was so involved and gave of her time to many great causes. Besides being so dedicated, she was equally pleasant and a true joy to work with. I am so sad to hear of the loss of such a truly wonderful, talented young woman. Your families will be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray you will...

I graduated from VVS in 89 and met Kara on several occasions and I also know Wendy as I was one of her camp counselors at Gorham. I am so sorry for your loss and am praying for your entire family.

I only got to meet Kara one time and her husband and daughters as well. I am very sorry for all whom she loved and at her loss to them. I pray that they may be comforted and find peace during theis vey difficult time.

For Bob & the whole family, we really do love you so much. This is just devastating. We will always work to make sure those girls have a deep understanding of their gorgeous, vibrant, brilliant mother.
