Karen was my neighbor for the past 18 years. She was always happy and chatty when we would see each other. She loved Jim, her daughters and grandkids. She especially loved going up to Oregon on get away trips. She would check in with me when our PG&E would go out, or the cable would go out, or winter storms, or hot summer heat waves, or if something was happening "downtown" Acampo. She always had a hearty chuckle, especially when she had her yard sales. My sincere condolences go out to Jim...
