KAREN BAER (Revised)

Meeting your daughter has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. I´ve never met you but I feel your love and kindness through her. I wish I could´ve met you. I love your daughter with all my heart, the way she talks about you makes it feel like you´re in the room with us. I hope you´re resting easy. I hope to meet you some day.

I miss you so much, and will never stop missing you. I wish I could see you again, and give you the biggest hug. I love you mom

Seth, I know this is truly a sad time for you. It's been a lot of years since my last meeting with both Karen and you. Yesterday, I was called informing me of her passing; it reminded me of my memories of knowing her. Karen was a really good person. She was definitely a Mensch. I remember her soft spoken voice, her endless smiles, and her positive outlook for life and never, as I recall, talking badly of others. Seth, you were very fortunate to have her as your best friend.
