Not sure what to say?

I knew Karen and Chris for a short summer I western MA. They were my favorite friends. I still think of them and googled them tonight, just learning the news. If Chris gets this, please reach out and let’s connect and catch up.

I’m in Dunedin, FL with my wife Pauline. She and Karen would really have hit it off.

My best,
Eric

To Karen's family: my heart has a hole in it at the loss of your amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt. I last saw her at the ISB reunion in Dallas (2016), and we had renewed our friendship and enjoyed great conversations since. I was so looking forward to seeing her this October prior to the next ISB reunion. I wish you peace in your hearts as you grieve losing her. In time the ache will be replaced with loving memories.

Heartbroken for your loss Jean, Kim and Kevin and her loving family. You are constantly in our prayers.

This doesn't seem possible: we had been planning such a lovely time with Karen and the family when they were to come to the UK next month. Karen was so full of life, love and laughter: a light in all our lives. During our time in the States she made her home, our home and she was like a second mother to Ben and Georgia. Our thoughts are with you all. Especially big hugs from Ben and Georgia to Anna, Kit, Claire and Laura.

Sorry for the loss of your dear love one. May God be a source of comfort to the family during this time of sorrow.

It is sad beyond words to see such a lovely person pass. My condolences and prayers are with the Barker family during this most difficult time.

Karen was a lovely person and I greatly enjoyed getting to know her last year as one of her daughter's teachers. My deepest condolences to the Barker family.

Dear Mimi and Bill,
