BELL, Karen A. - Of Swartz Creek, age 66, died Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.


A memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, 


Pastor Jon Gildner officiating.


Cremation has taken place.


Contributions may be made to the C.O.P.D. Foundation.


Memorial visitation 5-8pm Wednesday and 12 Noon Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
  
Karen was born in Comins, Michigan on March 18, 1957, the daughter of the late James and Patricia (Mudge) White. On January 4, 1988, she married Jim Bell and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2020. Karen worked as an office manager for Grand Blanc Oral Surgeons for over 20 years. She was an avid bowler, participating in many leagues and co-ed softball. Karen enjoyed many camping and up north trips with family and friends.


Surviving are children, Kim (Jake) Staley, Jimmy (Danielle) Bell and Eric Bell;


grandchildren, Cooper and Nora Staley, Brayden and Bailey Bell;


brothers, Terry White and Greg (Teresa) White;


and many nieces and nephews.


She was also preceded in death by her brother, Todd White.
