Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you during this stormy time and I learned of Karen's passing. I am saddened with the news. Doug and I met you in Portland Oregon while pregnant with Leah. You gave us your calico kitten. Love always Camille(use to be Wolthausen, now Stratton)

Tim,
It is with deepest regret that I am writing this acknowledgement of Karen's leaving this realm.
I only knew her a short time and was honored to have experienced the joy she embraced having you and your sons in her life.
Remembering her creativity as a writer and her passion for making the world a better place to live.
My heart felt thoughts are with you in your
time of grief.
Sadly,
Lisa

I knew Karen from Arlington Congregational as a teen. She was beautiful, intelligent, funny and witty and I always idolized her. Once during a public school holiday she invited me to attend classes with her at Bartram. In her French class she spoke only French and I vowed I wanted to be able to do the same. As a result I studied French in High School and later at Auburn. We lost touch when she went away to college, however I wanted to sign her book because she was a significant presence in...
