I was so sad to read of Karen's passing. It is difficult to lose a loved one. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Jeff, Mary Kate and I just returned from visiting our daughter in Atlanta and found your email last eveing. I was very sad to learn she had lost the fight she had waged so vigorously for such a long period of time. You and her extended family of friends have our full and deep sympathy.

It is with a great deal of sadness that I have read of Karens passing. Karen was my boss at St.Margarets Hospital. She was a person who expected the best possible care for her patients and if she felt it wasn't provided to her satisfaction, or standards, you knew about it quickly and honestly.
