Not sure what to say?

Pastor Jim,

I am so sorry to hear about Karen's homegoing. It's been so long since I have seen both of you, but my mind of full of memories of Grace days when you so influenced the steps I have taken in ministry since then.

May God fill your heart with a sense of peace and joy, knowing that soon you will be re-united again.

Jim,
Kim and I are so sorry. You're in our prayers every night.
I've always found this little poem very comforting;
Love is Immortal
We give our loved ones back to God, who gave them to us in the first place. Yet as God did not lose them in giving, so we have not lost them by their return. For what is God's is ours always if we are God's. And life is eternal and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon, and a horizon is nothing more than the limit of our sight.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Jim,
When you Pastored at Berean in Muskegon, my folks loved you, Karen, and your family. Just think: Karen and my folks are together again, and we have to wait. May the Lord Jesus Christ be your Strength and Comfort.

Hey Momma - it's your first born girl. Recently you told me that when I was born, you were so over-protective that you knew when I had a hang nail. I believe you and was also thinking that even when the other kids came along, you still protected each one of us, like we were your only one. I know that you are with 'Lou,' probably singing 'Lady Love,' and I am sure you've already found the coffee and 'good' creamer. I will miss you every day, but am so glad your suffering is over, and you...

Dear Pastor Jim and Family,
I never had the priviledge of meeting Karen, but her legacy is alive and well.
Thank you for allowing the body of Christ to see Jesus in an intimate way through your journey.
You are in my prayers.

Dear Jim and family,

It has been a number of years since our lives have passed, but you have been in our thoughts off and on. We are so sorry to read of Karen's passing. We will be upholding you all in prayer through the days ahead as you miss her, but rejoice that she is free of illness and has been reunited with the family and friends who have gone to join the Lord.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mom,

40 years ago today you brought me into this world. I know my birth was a little traumatic as we almost lost you for a second, but you fought hard from then until now with more than your share of mountains to climb. You had such an incredible unbelievable attitude and gave your family all these years of wonderful memories. Although my heart is breaking I am so happy that you are singing and baking with your Mom and Dad and grandma and Grandpa Carlson this year. The heavenly...
