Matthew we think of you often and lovely Karen xxx

Once again, still so shocked and saddened by this. Karen was a truly remarkable person. She had so much talent and you could just see greatness. I am glad she got to do so many things in her life but sorry to see it shortened by this terrible accident. I wish her family all the best and comfort from this huge loss. Rest in peace, my friend.

Remembering Karen with fond memories xx

Karen was one of the best math students I ever taught. I was lucky to be her teacher for three years---grade 7-9. The courses she made almost perfect grades in were Algebra I, Algebra II, and Advanced Math. She also took a course called Special Topics in Mathematics which met at lunchtime. She was an awesome person and greatly appreciated. I was so sorry when I read of her passing. She will be in my thoughts and never forgotten, especially when I remember my teaching career.

Karen, you were a great friend and a fantastic student. My memories of your willingness to learn and rehearse are very dear to me. You have touched my life in countless ways and I thank you.
