Karen J. Carson

JANESVILLE--- Karen J. Carson, age 57, of Janesville, died on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at home. She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on April 23, 1953, the daughter of John Charles and Janet (Harris) Maier. She married Donald Carson in Seattle, WA on Nov. 21, 1970. Karen had been a Janesville resident for 8 years, and had been a manager for Dunkin Donuts. She was a member of Gilda's Club of Madison. She is survived by her husband, Donald Carson; 4 children: Jennifer Graham, Patricia Carson, Scott and Tyler Carson; 4 grandchildren: Abigail and Madelaine Graham, Corey and Nikolaus Shelton; mother, Janet Hopp; 6 siblings: George Maier, John (Jaye) Maier, Gary (Donna) Maier, Patricia Battle, Linda Cunningham, and Virginia (Kevin) Delaney; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Lasting Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
