Dear Ed,
We just met over the phone at the end of July as you were seeking out any resources possible that could add quality to the life of your wife as well as your children. How admirable that you went to bat for them in the midst of all the trials you endured. In reading Karen's obituary it was amazing to see what a lovely person she was. I know you and your kids must miss her immensely. We're here if you need help or support. You're in my prayers for comfort, peace and strength....

I will miss you my dear angelic sister! You were like an angel on earth, now you are a real angel in heaven. Now I have two siblings in heaven and two still on earth. We all miss you, and yet we are so thankful for the loss of your illness and suffering! What an honor it was to spend your last days and hours together! You'll live on in my heart forever! Kristie

Thank you for allowing us to see a real 'angel' at work. You are never far from our thoughts and prayers.

Karen - thank you for blessing us all with your friendship for the short time we had together, our love is always with you as you journey into God's hands and find peace.

Karen, we met recently. I remember how accepting you were of all of us you had met for the first time. My husband and I are very saddened by your health. We had no idea of what you were experiencing. You were so strong, poised and peaceful.
Ed and your boys are so lucky to have you in their lives and now eternally.

Karen, I remember seeing meeting you at Carols wedding and never knew that you were ill, till later.
You have given so much to so many and been so gracious to all people.
I hope that many others can learn by your example. I wish I could have known you longer to get to know you better. We all will miss you so much.
