I was shocked to see the notice of Karen's passing in the NASA Glenn Aerospace Frontiers. She was such an awesome person. I loved working with her. She always made me smile when I talked with her. She especially gave me much comfort when my little girl died. She was a tremendously wonderful person. So kind and gentle. I am thankful I had the chance to know her and work with her. Wishing her family heartfelt sympathies at this sad time.
