Karen S. Crane

I was Karen’s Speech Therapist at her Mark Twain Preschool. Karen always greeted children, parents and related services with a wonderful smile. My best memory was that her opening exercise was sitting in the circle with her students singing to delightful preschool music like Rockin Robin using motions ! The preschoolers got really good at this and I said Karen this is a show! You have to invite the parents! And so she did!

Karen was a gifted storyteller, which she used daily in her work with preschoolers. She had a wonderful sense of humor that blessed me often as we worked side by side for many years. Karen had a welcoming classroom and she made wonderful memories with young people who were blessed to have her as their teacher.

I worked with Karen in Westerville. My best memories of Karen was her sharing stories of funny happenings in her classroom. She was the best. Karen was a free spirit and always seemed to accept adventure. You knew Karen loved and was proud of her children. Rest in peace Karen. Life well lived..
