Not sure what to say?

This is so tragic. I did not know this beautiful lady but I know the work that she has done and the world is a better place because of her. God bless you, Karen.

30 years ago the racquetball craze was sweeping the country. Karen was a huge nemesis of mine. We were both two of the better players around back then. I believe she won the State A division, putting her into the top division. On top of everything else, she was one heck of an athlete. The memories of those times are indelible.

Allen, so sorry for your loss. Karen was a great lawyer and a very lovely person. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

This world will be so empty without the likes of you. But you will continue to shine a light in this world like a candle that lights other candles. Your legacy will last because every good work that we do i.e. those that you have blessed will be forwarded to you. Peace my sister . until we meet again.

Alan, I am sorry to hear of Karen's passing. We all lost a bright light and I can't imagine the pain that you and her entire family must be feeling now. Unfortunately, I am out of town right now or I would be there. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that I, like many others, have you in my thoughts. May her memory be a blessing on you.

Alan,
I just want you to know that your OLLI friends are thinking of you. May your family be surrounded by love at this time of sorrow.

This is a tragic loss to Karen's family, her friends and the legal community.

I did not Karen personally, I only remember her from the dog park. My recollection is of a group of us standing in a circle with snow falling in sub-freezing weather shooting the bull...she was engaging, soft spoken, but had a presence about her that was unforgettable. I would have never imagined how profoundly brilliant she was and compounded with her huge and compassionate heart what an impact she had on so many in her fight to right injustice. God bless you Karen and your family.......

Shining star of our legal community.
