Not sure what to say?

We first met Karen many years ago, when Bill and Roger were in the Army Airborne together. Her parents, Alma and Bret Gray, were Light-carriers, examples of a life in service to others, and their legacy lived on in Karen. Her love and caring has spread far and wide, beginning with her very special family and continuing out into the community. We know she must be surrounded by those who have gone before her, welcoming her to - as the Native Americans say - the land beyond the shining...

Karen and I were in elementary school together at St Margaret Mary. We were in the same girl scout troop in 5th grade...and we graduated together from Bishop Moore HS>
We were best friends in elementary school and remained friends through our HS graduation. I remember her as such a sweet and beautiful young girl. We sat together at our 25th class reunion and I was delighted to see how lovely she had remained inside and out. She got up and danced with Billy and she looked positively...

We were sad to hear about Karen. She was a special soul who touched many and opened her heart to all.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill Sr., and also to Bill DeVane Jr. and family. May all the memories comfort you at this time.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Devane family. I was sad to hear of your loss. Spending time hanging out in the DeVane household growing up, my memories of Karen (Mom) are of a caring loving lady devoted to her family. She always gave her support with a heart of gold.

I was shocked and saddened to learn about Karen's demise. Karen was a light. Always wanting to please and give from her heart. I found Karen to be awe inspiring. My heart is heavy as I write this....Karen inspired many. May the lord reap in her light!

I wish we had known her longer. What an amazing person. All our prayers are with you.
