Mom called to tell me that Karen had died. We were of course surprised because she was so young. We both remember babysitting for Karen, Paul and Brian... In the late summer, I came down to take Mom out to lunch and we saw Karen walking near Dauner Haus. We stopped and had a nice time reminscing about living on Elizabeth Street and all that had changed in Fenton. I'm so glad we were able to talk to her and share memories. Dear Norma and Family,
Marcie Whitman came over yesterday and told us about Karen. Dad and I feel terrible for what your going through.Norma, if you need a friend we are always here. With Gabe's illness we have learned how important friendships are. Let us know if you need anything. You will be in my prayers.
