Not sure what to say?

My condolences go out to Karen's family.
I pray that God will draw near to you at this time and comfort you in ways that only he can. I graduated in '80 with Karen from Adelphi. I wish I had known she was battling breast cancer because I am a 5 year survivor as of this year and would have liked to have been available to share with her. I celebrate her many life's accomplishments and encourage you to share your fond memories of her with each other often.

Dear Connie,
I was very sadden to learn of Karen
passing,my thoghts and prayers go out to you and the entire family. Be
encouraged because God is Good.

Daisy Baxter-Glass

To my Aunt, I'm so very sorry to hear about Karen. I know how much you and William loved her. I remember William calling her his little bootsie. May God give you the strength to get through the coming days. Love you

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

As an alumni of Adelphi University class of 1984, and Decade 80's Leader for the Multicultural Alumni Chapter (MCC), I extend my heartfelt condolences for my sister alum. As a health care professional, I know much more research needs to be done in the field of Breast Cancer and treatment options; too many of our beautiful shining stars are taken away from us much too soon. During this difficult time, blessings to the family; be encouraged...God is with you. Karen is a star in the heavens...

To Ms. Fraction-Hamilton's family and friends: As the alumni director at Adelphi, it is always sad to hear about the passing of alumnus/alumna. It is especially sad when that passing is as untimely as in Karen's case. Please know that we in the Alumni office and the administration send our most sincere condolences at this time and will keep you and of course Karen in our prayers. We hope you will contact us if we can be of assistance in any way.

Sincerely,

My condolences to the family on behalf of the Adelphi University Multicultural Alumni Chapter. We have been re-connecting our alumni as much as possible over the past 5 years and missing the opportunity to meet someone this inspiring and accomplished increases our sense of urgency.

We will celebrate and treasure Karen's work because she left so much for us to see. God Bless the family and please let us know if we can do anything during this difficult time.

Adelphi MCC...

To the Hamilton, Fraction, and Morris Families:
I was deeply saddened when I heard of Karen's death. She was truly an extraordinary person - so warm, talented, and beautiful. I will cherish the memories of our childhood summers in Abbeville when Karen would have my sisters and me acting and learning dance routines. May memories of her full life comfort you and keep you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

To the Fraction - Hamilton Family, Karen will always be remebered for her endurance, friendship and desire to make a difference to those who had the pleasure of being in her company. I will always remember her Dad taking us both to school, stopping off for donuts and coffee. My family always thought highly of Karen and she will be missed, but never forgotten. God Bless you Mrs. Connie and stay encouraged. Sincerely, Karen Silk-Adams
