Please accept my condolences for the loss of Karen. I did not know her long but it was always delight when she would be in hall outside of my office speaking to all the staff & visitors in the hospital. She seemed to have a true enjoyment for life, her job & people. I returned to work today after 2.5 weeks off and found out of your, our, loss and it deeply saddens me. God bless you and I hope this may in some way ease the pain.

John and Marilyn, I just learned about Karen last night and am so sorry to know that she was taken at her young age. My heart goes out to all of you and will be praying for you in the days to come that God will grant you the strength to get through your loss. She was always such a pretty little girl. That is how I remember her. GOD be with all of you. Love, Merrill Hawk

John and Marilyn, you are in our prayers. There is not anything I can say at a time like this; It brings up to many emotions. We could not stand to make the trip back to Charleston. Our thoughts are with you. Love, Gettys Jr. & Cynthia Horne

Please accept my condolences for the loss of Karen. I did not know Karen well, but we both work at St Francis and I would see her often in the halls or in the gift shop.. she was always smiling and pleasant. We often made small talk, and she truly seemed a wonderful person, and a great mother, for she always mentioned her son with such pride in her smile. It was always good to see her and she will be greatly missed at St Francis.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time.
