Randi & Family, So sorry to have heard of Karen's passing.

Dearest Haugen and Gilbertson Families: Our deepest condolences and heartfelt hugs. As you know, we loved your beloved sister/auntie so very much. Her ability to always have a smile and an upbeat attitude as she traveled through her challenges with diabetes always amazed Phil and I. I will forever carry her in my heart knowing she is riding high in the saddle again.

Rest in Peace. dear Karen. I know Roger and Bonnie are waiting with open arms.

Cousins have a special place in our hearts growing up. We lived in Spokane growing up, so anytime we could come visit or the Haugen’s coming to our house was the best! Going on camping trips and playing, riding horses are just some of the special memories I have. When Karen was a teenager she asked me to go to the movie Carrie with her. I asked what it was about and she told me it was a love story, she knew I did not like scary movies. Well Carrie was a very scary movie, and I made it through...

She will be missed. She had such a beautiful presence, you could hear her laugh as soon as she came in the house. She taught me to cross stitch when she babysat for us when I was in 4th grade, I still stitch and think of her every time. She’s joined her mom and aunt barb and I can’t imagine the ruckus!

I will miss you forever sis, sisters are the only persons you know from cradle to death.

I will miss you forever sis
